How Reversible Belts Are Made
A reversible belt is two belts in one. Here is what goes into making one that holds up.

A reversible belt shows a different colour on each side, usually black on one face and tan or brown on the other.
The construction
Two leather faces sit either side of a core layer. The edges are stitched and finished, and a rotating buckle lets the wearer flip the belt without removing the frame.
Where the difficulty is
Both faces and both edges are visible, so finishing has to be clean on each side.
Thickness must match across the two leathers so the belt sits flat.
Holes must align through every layer.
The buckle pivot takes repeated stress and needs to be tested.
Quality checks worth asking for
Flex testing, repeated buckle rotation, and an inspection of the cut edge for layer separation.
